10 for 10
Donate 10p everyday in 2020 – an easy and simple way to love your local charity.
About 10 for 10
Beacon is celebrating 10 years since we moved into our new building this year. 2020 is huge year for us and we want you to be a part of it. As a local charity we rely on the publics generosity and this year we want you to love your local charity and pledge your support to Beacon. 10 for 10 is your way of helping us from the comfort of your home and making a real difference.
By simply adding 10p a day to a specially designed donation box, which is FREE, you could raise up to £36.60 this year – but why stop there? Drop whatever lose change you can spare and help us smash our fundraising target. Make sure you tell your friends and family – the more pledges we get the more of a difference you will make.
Pledge your support!
Fill in the registration form with your details and we will send you a joining pack which will include:

Remember to get the whole family involved and sign them up. You can even take one to work or any community groups you are involved in. Show your love for your local charity and back us in 2020.

– Bring it in person to Beacon at our reception

We will be in touch towards the end of the year and find out how you are doing. Best of luck and thank you for pledging your support.
How your donations make a difference
It costs £1.2m to run our services per year. There are around 260,000 living in Wolverhampton – if every person donated £5, we would raise £1.3m per year. By putting away your spare change you can make a real difference to the sight loss community. And don’t forget you can gift aid your donation at the end of the year and increase the value of your donation by 25%.
The money you make will help us to continue:
– Deliver vital services such as low vision advice sessions. Just £30 could cover the cost of a low vision advice session.
– Fund our sports programmes for the VI community.
– Support our befriending service for those living in isolation.
Help us make a difference to our community and to deliver our services across the Black Country and Staffordshire.
