Who knew that by eating cake you could help make life better for others?
Well, here at Beacon that’s what we’re asking you to do, by throwing an Afternoon Tea Party in aid of our charity to help us ensure that no one has to face sight loss alone.
It’s Afternoon Tea Week between August 7th and 13th, which we think is the perfect occasion to put the kettle on, get some friends or family round and indulge in your favourite slice of something nice.
It’s easy to get involved, in fact we’d say it’s a piece of cake! All you need to do, is have an afternoon tea and fundraise for us. You could ask donations from those attending or charge a small amount for food and drinks.
We have even created a free downloadable pack to help you throw the perfect parTEA!

A cup of tea and a slice of cake is a great way to bring family and friends together and is the perfect excuse to have a break at work with colleagues.
