Spread some festive cheer with Beacon this Christmas

We’re all hoping that Christmas 2021 will bring the chance  to enjoy an extra special festive celebration with family and friends after another year of ups and downs.

Christmas is such a special time for us at Beacon, we love spending the festive season with our members.

It’s become even more important this year because our members have faced another tough 12 months with the Coronavirus pandemic impacting their confidence and independence.

Thanks to support from people like you though, no one has been left having to face sight loss alone.

Over the past year, we’ve dealt with 700 inquiries that have helped keep people independent in their own home, delivered around 700 IT support sessions to people who were digitally excluded, run more than 500 virtual activity sessions and expanded our Talking News onto new digital platforms so we can reach even more people.

We’ll continue to put the needs of our members and the local community first as people are relying on us more than ever over the Christmas period. If you want to show your support for someone with sight loss why not get involved in one of our festive fundraisers below?
