Beacon Sedgley

We offer a range of health and wellbeing activities designed to improve people’s confidence, reduce loneliness and give people the chance to learn new skills at our adapted centre.  Whatever stage of sight loss you are at we can support you.

Our activities include:

Arts and Crafts
A full and varied programme to support continued or new hobbies

Health and well-being
Tailored physical activity programmes to improve mobility, balance, weight control and falls prevention.

Technology training
From beginners to the more experienced covering mobile phones, computer tablets and apps. Beacon has a key focus on digital inclusion for those with sight loss, providing access to assistive technology devices as well as training and support to build confidence.

Life Skills
Support to learn lost or new skills such as cooking or gardening.

Due to the vulnerable nature of those we support we are continuing to take additional precautions against Covid-19, our staff and volunteers will continue to wear masks and are tested twice weekly. We undertake additional cleaning and work with members in small groups.

We also offer a transport service to get to and from our centres, to find out more about this or any of our services call 01902 880 111 or email enquiries@beaconvision.org
