Beacon’s Santa Run is back!
Santa is coming to town, help us make our festive fundraiser bigger than ever in 2021!
Our Santa Run is fun for all the family so why not join us on 5th December at West Park in Wolverhampton to support someone with sight loss?
Young, old and even our four-legged friends can sign up so make it a date in your festive calendar!
Date: 05/12/21
Start time: Registration from 9am
Distance: 5km
Ticket price: £10 adults, £5 children (children under five are free) £1 for dogs.
Special offer for running club members just £8.
Everyone who finishes will get a medal, adults get to keep their Santa Suit and children get a Santa hat!

Other important information
Run a virtual race
For those of you who can’t join us in person this year we are offering a virtual event, you can run your 5k at any point in December and we will even send you a Santa suit and finishers medal. You can sign up to our virtual race here.
Covid-19
Please note to make this event a success and Covid-19 friendly we are encouraging all participants to take a lateral flow test before the event and kindly ask that if you are showing any Covid or flu symptoms that you please do not attend on the day.
Sponsorship
This year we are asking participants to consider raising sponsorship for completing the course and for those superstars who beat our £50 target a special Beacon t-shirt printed by Beacon’s very own Fab Lab will be sent out to you in January. Set up your Just Giving page here.

How your support make a difference
Our members have never needed us more this past year and we’re determined not to leave anyone with sight loss feeling alone.
By taking part in our Santa Run you’ll be supporting someone locally, £10 could help us run a 30 minute low vision session aimed at helping someone to stay independent in their own home for longer.
