Independent Living Centre – Sedgley
Our day centre is open Monday until Friday and we have a range of activities to suit your needs.
A full day’s activities runs between 10am and 3pm.
Our sessions include:
Arts and Crafts
A full and varied programme to support continued or new hobbies
Health and well-being
Tailored physical activity programmes to improve mobility, balance, weight control and falls prevention.
From beginners to the more experienced covering mobile phones, computer tablets and apps.
Support to learn lost or new skills such as cooking or gardening.
We offer two membership packages priced to meet an individual’s support needs.
Independent some escorting
Escorting, guiding, pushing in wheelchairs, assistance with food, etc, Plus low level dementia, pad changing and other personal care needs (including toileting)
Transport is available to the centre at an additional cost and lunch, snacks and refreshments can be purchased at our award winning restaurant and coffee bar.

Beacon Youth Club
Do you have a child with a visual impairment or are you a young person with sight loss who is interested in having fun and becoming more sociably interactive with others?
Our youth club provides out of school activities for young people aged 5 to 18 with sight loss. We currently have 30 members and offer a variety of activities such as arts and crafts, table games, indoor football and pool as well as visits to local attractions, including ten pin bowling and parks.
Chill out group: Wednesdays 6-8pm, 5-11 and 12-16 year olds
Job Club: Thursdays 10.30am – 12.30pm, 16+ years
Please note, there is a weekly fee for both sports club and project club but the first session is free.
We are able to provide door-to-door transport for every member and one friend or sibling, upon request.
