This Mother’s Day show how much you care.

Calling kids of all ages!

Becoming a mother is challenging enough but when you have sight loss it can make the every day more difficult.

Whether it is reading your kids a story or getting them dressed for school, very little is straight forward and we think mums with sight loss have extra superpowers. So this Mother’s Day, show how much you care and help us support a superhero with sight loss at the same time.

Become one of Beacon’s Little Helpers.

Your challenge, should you choose to accept it, is to complete four tasks to help your mum at home over Mother’s Day weekend and ask your family and friends to  sponsor you to raise funds for Beacon. Your mission could be anything from making the beds to helping with the hoovering. You can download your pledge form here and as we can’t use paper sponsorship forms at the moment due to Covid-19 we’re asking you to collect your sponsorship money online via our  JustGiving Page here or you can create your own in aid of Beacon Centre for the Blind. Your mission should be completed over Mother’s Day weekend (13th and 14th March 2021). If you have any questions please email us via supportus@beaconvision.org

Tell the world how much your mum means to you.

You don’t have to be Clark Kent to get a message out to the masses, just head to our Visufund page where you can dedicate a message to your mum for everyone to read. You can upload a picture and share your link as well. Dedicate your message here.
