Support Beacon during the Coronavirus Crisis

We’ve been here supporting people with sight loss for over 145 years, but the people we help need us more than ever right now and many of them are afraid that we won’t be there for them in the future.

We know all of us are facing challenges in these uncertain times but those with sight loss who rely on us are among those most at risk of loneliness and isolation.

Our wonderful staff and volunteers are doing everything they can to ensure we can continue to support them in new ways, but we need your help too.

The changes we are rightly having to make are have a huge impact upon us. We have already had to make the difficult decision to close our centres and some of our services.

We’ve been part of your local community for years and we want to be here for many more. But we are already losing thousands of pounds a week which is income we just cannot afford to lose and keep going.

Please support us in whatever way you can and help us ensure we can continue to help those most in need during this time of national crisis.
